Who we are
A graduate of Lincoln University, Peter Desborough spent 25 years with agricultural company Monsanto where he developed an in-depth knowledge of pasture renewal systems both on the flats and on low to mid-altitude hill country.
Peter’s independent consulting company — Desborough Pasture Consulting — was established in 2002, and now provides unbiased, research-based advice on all aspects of pasture/crop establishment and maintenance as well as fodder beet establishment and management.

Peter works with a full range of New Zealand farmers including sheep and beef farmers, dairy farmers, deer farmers and arable farmers. He has extensive experience developing hill country pastures, but has also worked with all other types of pasture and landscape.
